Nov 29, 2006·I think it’s similar to removing a stuck bolt or screw. If you don’t remove the inside material to relieve the pressure it will be very difficult to push out. Sep 17, 2020·Still using the same pellet as I have throughout so don’t think it’s that. The round seems to be getting stuck about 2 inches before exit from the barrel. Problem was initially caused after a double load. Air pressure in gun still seems stable. After clearing each pellet on firing the next pellet gets stuck in the same location. Thanks.

Think of a deck screw, without the screw head, welded or somehow attached to a 1/8" rod. You go up the barrel, screw into the skirt of the first pellet, and pull it out. Mild steel is harder than lead obviously. Most quality barrels are made with an alloy of high carbon steel. If you get the steel above 400 degrees the hardness of the metal comes out.
